The Historic Aiken Foundation was established in 1974 to promote, acquire, hold, improve, preserve, develop and restore sites, buildings, residences and structures of historical or architectural interest or value in Aiken County, South Carolina, for historic, aesthetic and educational purposes. We aim to preserve neighborhood design in mass and proportion, and to increase and diffuse a greater appreciation of such sites and structures among the general public.
