Coker Springs is a hallmark landmark of Aiken. For many years it has not been looked after. The HAF is working with many groups to clean up Coker Springs and is pleased that the City has cleaned off the brick, cut back vegetation and eliminated the mud hole. City involvement is very encouraging. There has been a suggestion to replace the water pipe, though the water near the spring is clear and will be tested to see if it is potable. A crew is scheduled to come out approximatley every ten days for maintenance. Drive by and see the progress!
